Steamed Cabbage Rolls

Directions

Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 10 seconds until they begin to wilt. Drain and set aside. Mix the pork, spring onion, five spice, soy sauce, chilli, sugar, and oil until combined and add the Broccoslaw and combine. Assemble the rolls by placing a tablespoon or two of mixture in a line in the middle of the cabbage leaf, leaving a gap at both ends. Fold in one end, then the sides and then the other end. Make sure the rolls are fully enclosed.

Place folded side down in the steamer. Repeat until all the wraps are used. (Any leftover filling can be kept and used to make patties). Steam for 15 minutes over a saucepan of boiling water. (These rolls can be baked if you don’t have a steamer but it may take longer than 15 minutes). Serve with coriander to garnish and your favourite dipping sauce.
