LeaderBrand Reindeer Beetroot Bliss Balls


Add beetroot juice to a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Add dates, remove from heat and leave soaking for 2 hours.

Drain and add to a food processer with coconut, almond meal and cocoa powder. Whizz until well mixed.

In a small bowl, mix second measure of coconut and cocoa powder.

Shape the beetroot mixture into balls and roll in coconut/cocoa mixture.

Melt chocolate melts according to packet instructions. Spoon melted chocolate into the sandwich bag and trim the corner. Pipe chocolate into antler shapes and refrigerate until firm (about 10 minutes).

Dip the decorative sticks/straws into the melted chocolate and push into the base of the bliss ball. Attach chocolate eyes and nose to the bliss balls with a bit of melted chocolate. Push antlers into the top of the bliss ball, working fast so that the antlers do not melt in your hands. Refrigerate the reindeer bliss balls for a further 10 minutes to set and enjoy!
