LeaderBrand Pure-n-Ezy Beetroot & walnut dip

Serves 6-8


Preheat oven to 180°C. Spread the walnuts over a baking tray. Place in oven and toast for 8 minutes, until beginning to brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Place the LeaderBrand Pure-n-Ezy Beetroot, cream cheese, garlic and toasted walnuts in a food processor or high speed blender. Season to taste with salt, freshly ground nutmeg and pepper. Blend until well combined. Scrape into a serving bowl, cover and chill.

Slice the French bread stick into small rounds. Brush each slice with a little olive oil and place on a baking tray. Toast in oven for 2-3 minutes, then turn the slices over and toast the other side for another 2-3 minutes, until the bread is just beginning to go golden brown.

Serve the Beetroot & walnut dip with the toasted bread slices, and fresh herbs for garnishing. Accompany with rind ripened cheese and red wine.
