Vineyard Harvest Operators

LeaderBrand Produce is one of New Zealand’s largest and most diverse horticultural businesses. A significant part of this is our vineyard and subsequent wine production.  Based in Gisborne, the operation covers 240ha and will harvest over 3300 ton of Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer.

We require two gondola drivers for our 2020 Gisborne harvest, which is estimated to begin on the 24th February and finish around the 25th March 2020.

Gondola drivers must have a full driver's licence and tractor driving experience.

This is a full time permanent role which requires a tractor operator, with experience using a range of vineyard machinery. Applicants will need to have proven machinery handling skills, strong practical ability and be prepared to assist with any role within the vineyard when required.
You will be involved in operating vineyard spray equipment so experience and a current Growsafe certificate would be beneficial but is not necessary as full training will be given.
You will have a can do attitude, good time management as well as the ability to work unsupervised. Flexibility and the willingness to work long hours at peak times of the year is a must.
