Maintenance Planner

LeaderBrand is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to assist with running of our state of the art Salad production facility.  As part of our maintenance team, you will focus on planning and coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, including maintenance shutdowns in order to maximise plant reliability.  You will be responsible for planning, inventory control and purchasing.

Our ideal Maintenance Planner will become LeaderBrand’s champion ensuring they provide excellent maintenance planning and resource management skills.  The ability to ‘plan’ being the focus of this role, added to quick reaction skills and ensuring prompt decisions are made.

Key focus for this role:

  • Technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical fields
  • Minimum five years’ experience within the food and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience as a maintenance/reliability planner (essential)
  • Engineering background preferred (or production planning background)
  • Experience in fast moving, highly automated production facilities
  • Able to demonstrate capacity to accurately record, manage and analyse data electronically
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project planning experience (using CMMS (MEX preferred) and/or Microsoft project
  • Budget and resource management (including contractors)
  • Team work and sound negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
