Food Production Process Workers

About the Role(s)

We are now seeking applications from people who are reliable, flexible and have a strong work ethic, keen to learn and have the energy to undertake a variety of different roles for our Hygiene shift, which is the clean down and sanitation of the production plant at the end of Production. Hours are 18:00 – 02:00 (five days a week on a seven day roster)

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Work in a cold room environment (between 2C and 6C)
  • Positions are on a three week rolling roster. Five days a week. Working two out of three weekends
  • Work safely and adhere to food hygiene rules
  • Repetitive movements and use of (diluted) chemicals
  • Ability to perform manual handling (15 kgs)
  • Highly independent with a view to achieve set targets.


  • Outstanding work ethic and dependability
  • Ability to work at a very fast pace with a focus on achieving KPI's and ‘getting the job done’
  • Reliable transport required as the site is not accessible by public transport
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (not essential)
  • Mechanical aptitude can be a benefit
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
